Canadian Army 82 Pattern LBE Web Gear Parts
The Canadian version of the US ALICE gear, a rugged set of load bearing equipment used by the Canadian army throughout the cold war years. The load straps for the shoulders kept some of the weight off your waist and placed it onto your shoulders. Used a lot in cadet programs across Canada!

Fighting Order Components
Large Field Bag - This bag as a large main compartment that can be split into two compartments, 3 smaller pouches on the front, a hidden lid pocket, and comes with 2 straps for adding on a sleeping roll or the like off the front bottom of the pack. Bags are Grade 2 as they do not come with attached shoulder straps, many have cut straps, and a few have small holes in the bag itself.
*Bags are dirty. Please be advised that you may want to wash items before use.* Yoke (Type 2) - These differ from the Type 1 in that they don't go with the belt piece. The buckles and straps are different on this yoke. The NSN comes up as Shoulder Strap, Packboard. (NSN: 8435-21-888-7102) These are in very good used condition. Dirty, but no major flaws. Grade 2 has a cut waist strap, or some rust on straps. Field Pack Back Pad - Try saying that 10 times really fast! Gives some relief to your lower back with a little back padding. NSN: 8465-21-888-7104. Grade 2 - fully intact, but they're dirty and have generally seen quite a bit of use. No holes or major flaws. Small Small Arms Ammunition Case - One of them says Grenade Case. They have a main compartment which perfectly fits a 500mL water bottle, and 2 holster type side bits. Not pockets as they don't have bottoms. Great for a hammer. Stay hydrated and carry your tools at the same time! Grade 2 - some of them feel a bit oily. Completely functional. NSN: 8465-21-910-8502 Large Small Arms Ammunition Case - Very much the same as the small version but bigger. Space to carry water for you and a friend. Maybe a couple of cheeky pops. And still those holsters - maybe for bbq tools? Grade 2 - a bit of an oily feel. 100% functional. NSN: 8465-21-896-8167 Pouch, Mag, 200 RD - The NSN looks to say 8865-21-896-8167, but the name is fully legible. Grade 1 - very good used condition. This pouch is very similar to the Large Small Arms Ammunition Case with the difference being that it does not have extra side holsters. In all other respects, this appears to be an identical bag. Grade 2 is a bit more worn looking, though still fully functional and has a quick release clip closure rather than the usual. Water Canteen Cover - Grade 2 mostly for inner wear and a small hole at the bottom seam. NSN: 8465-21-888-7093 Small Field Pack - A smaller day bag with 3 smaller pockets inside, cinch top, plus double buckle lid and optional shoulder strap. NSN: 8465-21-888-7096. (Sometimes known as Pack, Patrol, Combat.) Grade 1 - Pack is in very good condition. No real wear and tear. Grade 2 - Still good condition, slightly more worn and has that authentic "army smell" from being near other smelly things. All parts have been thoroughly inspected for any mold. |
Utility Belt - A thick durable wide belt that has holes designed for the plastic clips that the pouches hang off
Yoke (Type 1) - This is the part that goes with the belt to have everything attached to it. Yokes are in pretty good used condition. They are dirty and have some writing on them from previous owners.
Hook Strap Assembly - Required to attach the yoke to the utility belt at the front
Pouch magazine Utility - Designed to hold 200 rounds of linked 5.56 for the LMG but can also be used as a utility pouch due to its large size
Canteen Carrier - Used to hold the US Nato standard type water bottles and cup
Carrier KFS - Ever played knifey spoony? well you can now! A handy pouch Used to hold the issued knife, fork and spoon
Scabbard Bayonet Holder - Pretty much what it says on the title, holds the bayonet for easy access on the webbing belt
Pouch Magazine 30 Round - Holds the 30 round NATO STANAG 5.56 magazines for the M16 family of rifles and carbines. Goes on the front side of the web blet to attach the yoke at the front
Carrier Mask C4 NBC - A very large pouch with a roll up side to allow easy access to the gas mask comes with a shoulder strap/belt so can be worn independently of the webbing
Pistol Holster - Used for carrying the old reliable Browning 9mm, former standard sidearm of the Canadian army, has pouches for a spare magazine and cleaning kit
Combat shovel Carrier - This large shovel pouch is designed for the entrenching tool and is designed to go on the mounting on back of the webbing yoke
Small Field Pack - The 'butt pack' so called due to its location on the battle order of the webbing, designed to hold more items if the soldier needed items on a longer patrol
